This half-day workshop introduces ISO/IEC 42001, the world’s first international standard for AI management systems, and gives participants a practical foundation for building or evaluating an organizational AI governance program. Participants will learn how the standard is structured, what it requires organizations to do, and how it fits alongside frameworks such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and emerging regulation like the EU AI Act. The session closes with hands on exercises in AI system risk classification and gap analysis that participants can bring back to their own organizations.
